Nelson Lakes National Park

Hedgehog House photographers have travelled through Nelson Lakes National Park, around Lakes Rotiti and Rotoroa, and up the Travers, D'Urville, and Sabine Rivers, all well served by tramping huts. Climbers visit Mounts Cupola, Travers, Hopeless and others. Visitors enjoy the bush and birdlife, as well as boating and fishing in the lakes, and nearby Buller and Matakitaki Rivers. There is skiing at Rainbow Skifield and touring along Robert Ridge to Lake Angelus in winter.
