Antarctica - Ellsworth Mtns - Colin Monteath

After a Twin Otter flight from the Patriot Hills base camp, Colin Monteath became the first New Zealander to climb Vinson Massif, the hifghest peak in Antarctica, in the remote Ellsworth Mountains. Together with Australian climber Greg Mortimer Colin also completed a new route on Mt Shinn that gave commanding views across the Ellsworth and Eternity ranges, a truly humbling experience.
